American Hardwood Industries is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Lumber Stacker / General Laborer. This position is ideal for those with experience in warehouse operations or entry-level labor roles. These are full-time positions within a leading hardwood lumber manufacturing company.

• Starting hourly wage of $15/hour

Responsibilities of Lumber Stacker - General Laborer:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong willingness to learn and punctuality. Responsibilities include:

• Identifying sort numbers for assigned carts and organizing boards accordingly.
• Stacking boards with specific criteria:
  • Longest boards on the top, bottom, and outside.
  • Ensuring all edges are free from knots, wane, writing, and other imperfections.
  • Maintaining a square bundle with edge boards aligned against the cart pipes.
  • Completing each bundle with a neat top layer.
  • Assisting in pushing finished bundles for forklift removal.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the area surrounding chains and carts on the production line.
• Completing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications for Lumber Stacker - General Laborer:

• Previous experience in warehouse settings is preferred.
• Experience in entry-level positions is advantageous.
• Background in agricultural work is a plus.
• A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
