Position Overview:
Froedtert Health is in search of a dedicated travel nurse RN specializing in Medical Surgical for an exciting opportunity within our health network.
Job Responsibilities:
As a travel nurse, you will be responsible for implementing comprehensive care plans by providing direct nursing services to patients. You will work collaboratively with the Patient Care Coordinator to develop and evaluate interdisciplinary care strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
Key Duties Include:
- Assessing and documenting patient health status accurately.
- Delivering timely nursing interventions based on thorough assessments.
- Evaluating patient responses to care and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Coordinating care activities with healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Implementing discharge plans and ensuring appropriate referrals are made.
- Participating in the orientation and development of nursing staff and students.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- An Associate degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or an equivalent.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
