KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Achievement:
  • Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers; suggests merchandise options or assists in locating items based on customer preferences.
  • Stays informed about ongoing sales and promotions; upholds pricing and visual presentation standards.
  • Adheres to merchandise handling and presentation protocols, loss prevention measures, and other responsibilities as assigned by Management.
  • Engages in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store setups and area maintenance.

Customer Service Excellence:
  • Exemplifies and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Facilitates a quick and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon acceptance, returns, exchanges, security protocols, and other operational guidelines.
  • Encourages additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
  • Enrolls clients in the rewards program.
  • Develops and maintains a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
  • Remains updated on current product fits and style offerings available in-store and online.
  • Ensures consistent communication with clients through a customer engagement book.

Operational Support:
  • Aids in replenishment efforts to keep the store well-stocked and inviting.
  • Assists with locating and fulfilling customer orders.
  • Supports visual merchandising directives, including floor layouts, window displays, and signage placement as directed.
  • Contributes to maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Team Collaboration and Development:
  • Encourages a collaborative and inclusive approach to problem-solving.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Capacity to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and Management.
  • Regular attendance is essential to ensure adequate coverage for company objectives. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).
  • Regular climbing (34%-66% of the shift).

The wage range for this position is $15.70 to $19.75, with successful candidates' wage rates determined by their individual qualifications. Store associates may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on various performance metrics.
