Job Overview

Route Elite is seeking a reliable and skilled FedEx Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle and delivering packages to businesses and residences in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Deliver packages to businesses and residences, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels and ensuring proper maintenance.
  • Load and organize daily delivery routes, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of packages.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Accurately track delivery progress, using a scanner to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Pass a drug test and a DOT physical.
  • Be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds, and up to 150 pounds with a hand truck.
  • Pass a FedEx Ground criminal background check.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work, and be on time and ready to work each day.
  • Be able to climb stairs and work in all types of weather.
