Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Imaging Support Specialist to join our team. As an Imaging Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Radiology Department. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Patient Transportation
- Transport patients to and from the Radiology Department in a safe and timely manner, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Patient Screening
- Conduct thorough patient screenings prior to each study, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and documented.
- Study Preparation
- Prepare patients for their studies by dressing them according to safety protocols and ensuring that all necessary equipment is available.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels of supplies and equipment, ordering as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including Infection Control and OSHA mandates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail
- A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately collect and document patient information.
- Organizational Skills

- Customer Service Experience
