As a Patient Scheduler in the Radiology department, you will play a crucial role in managing patient appointments for various procedures including surgical and diagnostic therapies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and confirming essential demographic and insurance details.
- Registering patients and accurately inputting data into scheduling systems.
- Maintaining comprehensive records and accounts.
- Delivering exceptional customer service by assisting and welcoming patients.
- Leading and mentoring fellow schedulers, serving as a knowledgeable resource.
Compensation: The estimated pay range for this role is $23.87 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, or GED.
- Experience in a Healthcare or Customer Service environment, with a preference for surgical settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various Scheduling Systems (e.g., Net Access, Centricity, Pathways Healthcare Scheduling, Chartlinks).
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Experience handling high volume calls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience Requirement:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
