Job Opportunity

The Medical Physicist will be part of a team of 5 physicists covering 3 APEx accredited radiation therapy clinics in the Kansas City area. This position reports to the Chief Medical Physicist and is responsible for performing all aspects of quality assurance in radiation therapy to ensure accurate and safe delivery of radiation therapy treatments and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

This is a hybrid position with in-person/remote flexibility on a day-to-day basis depending on clinical needs. It offers a good work-life balance with a typical work week of 40 hours Monday through Friday. Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance in radiation therapy to ensure accurate and safe delivery of treatments
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Work collaboratively with a team of 5 physicists covering 3 APEx accredited radiation therapy clinics

Requirements

• 1 year of applicable experience
• Master's Degree
