Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Carlsbad Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical disabilities and injuries.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their physical disabilities and develop treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, such as exercises, stretches, and other interventions, to help patients improve their mobility and function.
  • Use a variety of equipment and techniques, including modalities, to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Mexico.
  • Experience working in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
