Job Summary:

This appointment will be in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Fellowship Program, receiving advanced training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and completing a two-year Executive MBA. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing independent clinical services for the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and other UW Radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended coverage areas as necessary.

You will receive additional compensation for these independent clinical services from the Department of Radiology through the UW Medical Foundation per the attached Moonlighting Opportunities Summary.

You will be given dedicated time to pursue your University of Wisconsin Executive MBA classwork for the two years of the program.

All requirements of the Executive MBA program will be handled by the UW School of Business. You will be responsible for paying all tuition and fees, course materials, completing all applications and coursework of the program to obtain an advanced degree.

  • 4 Year Residency in Radiology

License/Certification:
Preferred
MD - Physician - State Licensure
WI Medical License by start date. Board Eligible or Board Certified by American Board of Radiology by start date.

Work Type:
Part Time: 50% - 80%

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Appointment Type, Duration:
Terminal, 24 month appointment. This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding

Additional Information:
This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
