Workshop Assistant

Greene County Schools seeks a skilled and detail-oriented individual to assist and supervise students in the workshop. The ideal candidate will have experience managing incoming parts from providers and companies, as well as operating a forklift to load and unload parts. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving a box truck to deliver completed pallets of assembled parts to companies. The workshop assistant will also work closely with students to teach new skills, complete workshop paperwork, and perform other tasks as requested by the classroom teacher or administrator.

• Assist and supervise students in the workshop
• Manage incoming parts from providers and companies
• Operate a forklift to load and unload parts
• Drive a box truck to deliver completed pallets of assembled parts to companies
• Teach new skills to students
• Complete workshop paperwork and timesheets

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience in a workshop or similar setting is preferred.
