Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled in the heart of Oklahoma, renowned for its innovative cardiovascular program. We are seeking a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to join our team and expand our program.

We offer a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists, ensuring exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
  2. Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning them for care.
  3. Maintain a sterile environment.
  4. Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in staff orientation.
  5. Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks.
  6. Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
  • Meet all departmental competencies within 6 months.
Education and Experience:

We require completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program, eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration, and/or current RCIS certification. Previous procedural area experience is preferred.

Licensure and Certification:

Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist, ARRT, or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS, is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training must be completed during orientation, and current BLS certification is necessary throughout employment. ACLS training should be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained.

Compensation:

Our salary range is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
