Healthcare Assistant Professional

The Healthcare Assistant Professional plays a vital role in supporting the office of Central Medical Services at NewPath Child & Family Solutions.
This is a full-time position located at our NewPath Central Campus, offering a competitive salary range of $48,000 - $58,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in preparing for appointments with primary providers
- Contribute to the management of daily operations, including answering phone calls/messages, reviewing and documenting lab results, administering injections, completing prior authorizations, and ordering medical supplies
- Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacies, hospitals, laboratories, school personnel, and NewPath staff as a liaison
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in a related field preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification required
- 2-4 years experience working as a Medical Assistant required
- Experience with a special population with mental health diagnoses strongly preferred
