Job Summary

BUDDYS HOME FURNISHING is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our branch location. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating store activities to ensure safe, professional, and profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and review financial statements and store reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate inventory levels, ensuring availability of merchandise and minimizing stockouts.
  • Employee Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance evaluation.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained store environment, meeting company standards for quality and customer service.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Equivalent to an Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, marketing, or management, with a minimum of two years' experience in retail or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong customer service focus.
