Job Title: Field Service Engineer III

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer III to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the Northwest US.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site installation and preventive maintenance of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometer equipment at customer labs.
  • Handle personal parts inventories, complete job tasks, and complete service reports using service ticket management software.
  • Train customers on MS equipment and software.
  • Provide a communication link between the customer and the company to ensure effective service is provided.
  • Regularly attend factory-provided technical and service training on newest innovative products developed by Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of servicing, preventive maintenance of Chromatography or Mass Spectrometer equipment experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
