Job Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at University Hospital in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience in Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant, with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities

Requirements:

2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
Experience in Chemo and/or Bone Marrow Transplant required
Chemotherapy certification required
WI nursing license or compact license from permanent address state
BLS certification through American Heart Association

Work Environment:

39-bed unit with nurse-driven collaboration
Acutely ill patients varying in age and diagnosis
End of life care

Shifts:

36 hours/week, Night, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend rotation, and some holidays
