  • Ensure safety and ergonomic conditions in warehouse and material handling activities.
  • Integrate the SAP system with warehouse management configurations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in digital transformation and automation within the warehouse to enhance safety, quality, time, and cost efficiency.
  • Plan routes for the efficient evacuation of finished products and waste.
  • Audit established processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings with actionable recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage projects focused on optimizing warehousing operations and assist in the architecture of warehouse management systems.
  • Maximize warehouse space utilization.
  • Develop efficient methods for material picking and storage.
  • Utilize warehouse architecture design tools effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Open to candidates without a bachelor's degree based on relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in flow architecture for warehouse layout design.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies in warehouse settings, including digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in warehouse design sizing and route planning for finished goods and waste evacuation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Must be capable of safely handling chemicals and hazardous materials.

Additional Information:

  • Industrial Engineering expertise is highly desirable.
  • This role is focused on engineering rather than civil or architectural disciplines.
  • Responsible for configuring material storage and managing product reception and distribution across various warehouses.
  • Experience with SAP, particularly in the WMS module, is preferred.
  • Desired experience in continuous improvement projects.
  • Accountable for the movement of finished products to designated warehouse areas and defining efficient routing procedures.
  • A typical workday includes generating reports from the WMS to identify and rectify discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
