About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Cannabis Advisor to join our team at Verano. As a Cannabis Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educational consulting, and patient record management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide personalized attention to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cannabis Education: Offer in-depth information on various cannabis products, including their types, methods of use, and potential benefits.
  • Patient Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, including product recommendations and customer feedback.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless operations, share knowledge, and provide support as needed.
  • Compliance: Understand and adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing the cannabis industry.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in retail or hospitality.
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Certifications: Required to undergo a criminal background check and obtain necessary state badging.
  • Skills: Ability to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application/consumption methods.
Working Environment

This role is performed in a fast-paced retail environment with moderate noise levels. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic setting, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
