Key Responsibilities
We seek a seasoned software engineer to join the Sponsored Products (SP) Supply team. The SP initiative assists merchants, retail vendors, and brand owners in boosting incremental sales through native product advertising.
The SP Supply team is dedicated to providing relevant product advertisements on Amazon search pages globally, utilizing advanced technologies such as NLP, computer vision, generative AI, and shopper insights.
This team is engaged in several pioneering projects that are both complex and rewarding, presenting the chance to make a significant impact on our customers and the business.
As a member of this team, you will lead substantial product and engineering projects, develop large-scale, low-latency distributed systems, and construct ML infrastructure and data processing pipelines. You will collaborate with our science team to deploy LLM models in production and contribute to LLMOps.
Your Role
You will be accountable for designing, building, and maintaining critical components of customer-facing functionalities that affect hundreds of millions of Amazon shoppers worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the labor market across various US geographic regions. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is influenced by factors such as market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package, which may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
