Job Title: Psychologist - Mental Health

Join the City of Chicago's team of dedicated professionals as a Psychologist - Mental Health Specialist. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced licensed psychologist to provide mental health services to our community.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological testing, counseling, and psychotherapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests to diagnose mental and emotional disorders and formulate treatment plans.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Provide consultation and direction to clinical staff in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cases.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed to practice Psychology in the State of Illinois.
  • Proficiency with electronic records.
  • Previous experience providing psychological testing, counseling, and psychotherapeutic services.
  • Previous experience administering and interpreting psychological tests.
  • Previous experience conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Previous experience providing consultation and direction to clinical staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with electronic records.
  • Previous experience providing psychological testing, counseling, and psychotherapeutic services.
  • Previous experience administering and interpreting psychological tests.
  • Previous experience conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Previous experience providing consultation and direction to clinical staff.
