About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage electrical contract drawings and specifications using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and AGI Lighting.
  • Verify that all design aspects comply with local codes and regulations.
  • Perform field inspections, measurements, and calculations, and document results.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to provide a coordinated design.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) by performing peer reviews, QAQC on projects prior to submission, and coordinating with supervisor or electrical department leader.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
  • 7+ years of electrical engineering design experience required.
  • Licensed PE required.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of Revit, AGI Lighting, and power studies software skills preferred.
  • Passion for power, lighting, and fire alarm design.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
