Job Title: Clinical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at The Methodist Home of Kentucky, Inc. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral health assessments, diagnostics, and clinical treatment for mental health and/or substance use/abuse for children, adults, and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clients who benefit from counseling services; document progress; maintain other required paperwork and engagement
  • Engage and facilitates family, individual, and group counseling, skill training, and education programs
  • Ability to complete comprehensive assessments, accurately perform assessments and determine diagnoses, and treatment plans with updates as applicable
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and competence with various populations, mental health/substance use needs, diversity in spiritual practices, degrees of traumatic experiences and complex psychological presentations
  • Participate in all required trainings; attend staff and team meetings
  • Abide by all applicable policies, procedures, and program standards set by The Methodist Home of Kentucky, Inc. and other pertinent regulatory authorities
  • Uphold and advance the values, ethics, knowledge, and mission of the profession/discipline while promoting the highest standards of practice
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Must possess a current Professional License as required by Kentucky professional boards (LPCA, LPCC, LCADC, LCSW, MFTA, LMFT, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in related field of licensure
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid Kentucky driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment testing including, but not limited to, fingerprint clearance, drug screen, and background check

Starting salary determined by licensure and years of experience.
