About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our HNI Corporation team in Muscatine, IA. As a key member of our 2nd Shift HNI Workplace Furnishings Operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily MDI discussions with the team to ensure visual management is relevant and effective.
  • Partner with internal customers to achieve daily delivery and quality goals.
  • Conduct 8D investigations to drive root cause analysis and quality improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, motivating and empowering them to achieve daily and breakthrough goals.
  • Consistently react to changing needs, situations, and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Organizational/Business Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of direct labor supervision experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or customer service, with lean manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
