Behavior Technician Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our clinical team at Autonomous Behavior Solutions LLC. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing in-home and school Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and youth with Autism and related disorders in the Long Beach, Lakewood, South Bay, and South LA County Areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans created by board-certified behavior analysts and clinical supervisors.
  • Ensure client and family are supported in meeting all aspects of the behavioral program.
  • Implement goals to help support the child reach their fullest potential.
  • Collect, report, and maintain data on the client's progress.
  • Receive direction and provide feedback to the clinical team to help support the client's growth and development.
  • Participate in ongoing training.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Associates or higher is preferred.
  • Must be available at least 15-20 hours per-week for part-time and hours a week for full-time.
  • Must live near or around the surrounding Long Beach, South Bay, and LA County Metropolitan Area.
  • Enthusiastic team members with a desire to support and guide children and families.
  • A minimum of 1 year working with children with special needs is preferred.
  • Willingness to join a growing company with vast growth potential.
  • Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Must pass TB test.
  • Must pass criminal background check/fingerprinting clearance.
  • Criminal background clearance through the State DOJ and FBI.
