Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Lube Oil Filter Auto Technician to join our team at Stevenson-Hendrick Honda Wilmington. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing express lube duties on vehicles, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform express lube duties, including oil and filter changes, lubrication of joints, and checks of battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid levels.
- Report all necessary repairs to the service advisor and ensure that vehicles are clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
- Maintain CSI at or above Company standards and participate in required training.
- Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system and follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Demonstrate the Company's Core Values, including Servant Leadership, Teamwork through Trust & Respect, Integrity, Commitment to Customer Enthusiasm, Passion for Winning, Accountability at All Levels, and Commitment to Continuous Improvement.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
- Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
- Technical training or commensurate technical experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions, communicate effectively with customers and company personnel, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment: The position requires regular and predictable attendance, with scheduled shifts including evening hours, weekends, and holidays. The work environment is primarily in the service area, with movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment.
