Position Overview- Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Length: 12 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients with complex medical needs, including fresh post-operative kidney transplants.
- Utilize advanced skills in IV starts, telemetry, and management of invasive hemodynamic devices.
- Monitor patients requiring frequent assessments and interventions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU setting; first-time travelers must have at least 3 years of experience.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
- Preferred certifications: NIH.
- Proficient in managing patients with pulmonary hypertension and dysrhythmias.
