- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient care issues and develop effective solutions.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately and thoroughly document all patient encounters, ensuring that patient health information is protected and secured at all times.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure: Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Certifications: Current AHA BLS Certification, Current AHA ACLS Certification, Current AHA PALS or ENPC, CPI Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; basic computer knowledge; proficient in interpreting EKG.
