Job Title: RF Module Design Engineer

At Skyworks, we are seeking a highly skilled RF Module Design Engineer to join our team. As an RF Module Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop multi-chip modules
  • Evaluate and optimize prototypes of multi-chip modules
  • Run simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc.
  • Participate and present in design reviews
  • Perform lab testing using standard RF test equipment
  • Trouble-shoot and resolve design or technical issues
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD programs
  • Commitment to working onsite for 6 months
  • Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact
  • Strong career interest in RF/microwave circuits and engineering
  • Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS
  • Hands-on experience in lab using network analyzer and other RF instruments
  • Knowledge of transmission-line theory and circuit design
