Embedded Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist for Special Operations, you will provide technical expertise, guidance, and direct clinical service to support the readiness and resiliency of service members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the development and implementation of resiliency programs for preventing and treating behavior health issues.
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify and address behavioral health concerns.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support the recovery and rehabilitation of service members.
  • Collaborate with medical and surgical teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • Successful completion of an Internship/Residency in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of clinical work in a mental health setting.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands.
