Key Responsibilities
  • Provide surgical assistance in a safe and effective manner under the direction of a Registered Nurse/MD.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient patient flow and effective communication.
  • Participate in performance improvement and patient safety activities.
  • Support the achievement of desired patient outcomes through effective documentation and communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year acute care experience preferred.
  • Completion of Scrub Tech Program or Armed Services Training program required.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support Card required.
  • Scrub Tech Certification preferred.
