Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel-powered vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnostic and Repair: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and repair complex issues with vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in diesel mechanics or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in diesel fleet maintenance and repair; experience with heavy-duty equipment and complex diagnostic tools a plus.
- Certifications: ASE certifications in diesel mechanics or related fields; EPA section 608 certification a plus.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
