Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work at an esteemed healthcare facility in Salisbury, MD. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your nuclear medicine skills while advancing your career as an NM. The travel assignment involves preparing and administering small doses of radioactive drugs to patients, then using diagnostic imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body.

Responsibilities
  • Put patients at ease, obtain medical histories, describe procedures, and answer any questions.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor the patient's physical condition during the course of the procedure.
  • Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
  • Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Current CPR/ BLS certification
  • 2 years of experience required within the last 5 years
