Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Rheumatologist to join our faculty at the University of Texas Health at San Antonio. As a member of our team, you will provide outstanding patient care, conduct research, and teach and supervise rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.
Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient care at the Robert B Green and Gateway clinic sites
Participate in inpatient consult coverage at the UT Health Multispecialty & Research Hospital (MSRH) and University Hospital
Conduct research and publish scholarly work
Teach and supervise rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students
Requirements:
MD or DO degree
3 years of ACGME certified Internal Medicine residency
Board certified in Rheumatology or successfully obtain board certification within one year of completing fellowship training
Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Texas, or the ability to become licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas
