Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Norton Sound Health Corporation. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

• Assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to improve daily living and work skills.
• Provide direction, development, implementation, supervision, and ongoing evaluation of activities programs in long-term care facilities and swing bed programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other professionals to plan and conduct therapy, leading to the health restoration of patients.
• Evaluate patient progress, report, and document.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Alaska Occupational Therapy License and Basic Life Support certification.
• 3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with both general and supervisory experience.

• Work is conducted in a standard clinical environment, with exposure to latex, biohazard, or other harmful substances.
• Minimal travel required (less than 25% of the time).
• Travel via large aircraft and small aircraft (less than 16 passengers).
