Join CVS Health as a District Support Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated District Support Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a District Support Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and dispensing of medications, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices and regulations, and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on best practices.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to controlled substances.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and develop pharmacy staff, and provide guidance on performance expectations and goals.
  • Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
  • Financial Profitability: Monitor and manage pharmacy finances, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential losses, and implement measures to prevent theft and other forms of loss.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize pharmacy workflow to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Requirements:
  • Active Pharmacy License: Must have an active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List: Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification: Must have immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Free of Pending Felony Charges: Must be free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
