Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including installation of new equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) in accordance with established schedules
  • Communicate daily with maintenance staff regarding facilities maintenance issues
  • Arrange work orders and complete tasks in order of priority
  • Manage stock inventory and order materials as needed
  • Update systems information in the computer database as equipment is serviced or replaced
  • Respond to requests for information by accessing relevant facility files
  • Oversee the work activities of maintenance repair personnel
  • Provide backup coverage for maintenance supervisors as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Five (5) years' experience as a technician in the HVAC service industry
  • One (1) year experience providing supervision preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in relevant computer systems related to the field
  • Experience working in building trades preferred
  • Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent customer interaction and written and verbal communication skills
  • Current, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience, and acceptable driving record
