Job Overview

Blueprint Staffing is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead government construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in federal and local public agency projects, including Illinois Capital Development Board and IDOT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise construction work, encompassing various technical disciplines, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, building codes, and permitting processes.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and address RFIs, submittals, safety, quality, and schedule to prevent slippage.
  • Lead project labor forces and subcontractors, providing technical direction and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in federal and local public agency projects, including Illinois Capital Development Board and IDOT.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and technical direction skills.
  • Familiarity with USACE quality and safety requirements.
