Key Responsibilities:
Deliver mechanical expertise in the repair and refurbishment of electric motor systems and related electrical power equipment.
Engage in daily operational discussions regarding customer machinery.
Maintain an organized workspace in accordance with established shop flow protocols.
Receive training in specific areas as identified by the Repair Manager.
Execute mechanical rebuilds on rotating equipment, including electric motors, pumps, and fans.
Communicate effectively with Customer Service representatives and management regarding necessary parts for tasks.
Adhere to procedures and standards that comply with CSA, ISO, EASA, and IPS Standard of Work (SOW) requirements.
Contribute to the CIPS culture, utilizing UCE 1 & 4 boards.
Follow Work plans, OPS scheduling, and provide accurate time estimates for operations.
Collaborate with fellow technicians to achieve collective goals in larger repair projects and meet customer expectations.
Ensure exceptional quality and delivery in customer service.
Prioritize safety for yourself and colleagues by recognizing job-related hazards.
Be prepared to work overtime as needed.
Assist with field service tasks involving the installation of motors, fans, and other mechanical components.
Qualifications:
Possess a solid technical foundation in electrical and/or mechanical products, with a preference for experience in mechanical roles and/or Millwright/Machinist certifications.
Exhibit strong organizational skills in managing daily responsibilities.
Demonstrate effective communication abilities to collaborate with team members on job-related matters.
Have access to basic personal tools required for the role; specialized tools will be supplied by the company.
Availability for full-time work from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as necessary.
