About the Role

VNS Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team in a nursing job that focuses on wound care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care and developing programs to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care practices into protocols and policies to improve patient care and reduce hospitalizations.
  • Collaborate with staff to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Evaluate clinical outcomes data and analyze practice patterns to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement disease and symptom management education programs for clinical staff.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York.
  • Clinical certification in a specific specialty, such as wound care, is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required, and a Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years clinical experience is required, with experience developing and delivering disease-specific educational programs preferred.
