We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at Pinnacle Treatment Centers. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing counseling services to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction.
Responsibilities:- Assess the counseling needs of clients and develop personalized treatment plans
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to promote long-term recovery
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment
- Document all counseling and education services, assessments, and follow-up in client records
- Provide coordination of support services for clients and families
- Facilitate interventions for crisis-oriented issues using a multi-disciplinary team approach
- 4-year degree in a social science discipline with a CSAC certification
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage, and family therapy and one year in the field (preferred)
- CSAC, LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LSAT, or LRIC license preferred
- 18 days PTO (Paid Time Off)
