Job Summary

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse to join our team in a Pulmonary Unit - Stepdown setting. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details
  • Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36's
  • Length: 13 weeks
  • Requirements:
  • Current OH License
  • 1.5 years' experience in a Stepdown or PCU setting
  • Must have SD/PCU experience to be considered
  • Must have vent experience and EPIC experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret strips
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Some level 1 or 2 preferred
  • Travel experience preferred
Unit Details

The Pulmonary Unit - Stepdown is a fast-paced environment that requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The unit population primarily consists of patients with COPD, CHF, Pneumonia, Flu, Sepsis, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, and Post Covid. The team works closely with Respiratory Therapists to care for patients with trach, vents, bipaps, and high-oxygen requirements.
