Gelato Artisan

Paciugo Gelato & Caffe is a premier destination on Beach Drive in downtown St. Pete, known for its high-quality gelato and fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $19 per hour, including $15/hour plus credit card tips which are usually a minimum of $4/hour. As a valued member of our team, you will also enjoy a 5-day workweek, with shifts typically ranging from 8-3 to 3-10, Wednesday through Sunday.

As a Gelato Artisan at Paciugo, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving high-quality gelato using our state-of-the-art batch freezer and blast freezer equipment.
• Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Assisting in the preparation of other desserts and beverages prepared in-house.

You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Dedication and dependability, with a strong commitment to delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Servsafe certification or willingness to obtain it.
• A knowledge or understanding of frozen dessert production is beneficial, although not essential.
• Previous experience as a line cook, baker, chef, or sous chef is highly desirable.
