Job Description

We are seeking an Early Elementary Library Assistant to support the daily operations of our Grade K-2 library. This role is focused on creating a positive learning environment for all patrons in keeping with our school values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Modeling: Teach and model exploration and appropriate use of library materials to young students during scheduled class visits to the library
  • Fostering Positive Relationships: Foster positive relationships with and between students and collaborate with colleagues to uphold clear expectations for student behavior

This is a 20 hour per week position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. The ideal candidate will be punctual, collaborative, self-motivated, and excited to interact with students.
