Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full-time surgical management of cleft lip/palate and complex craniofacial anomalies, adolescent breast, pediatric and adult facial trauma, and general pediatric plastic surgery.
  • Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to the development of innovative curricula and team-oriented interprofessional education.
  • Engage in research activities, including clinical, outcomes, health services, basic science, translational, ethics, education, or global surgery research.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality clinical care and contribute to the department's mission to improve the health and well-being of North Carolinians and others we serve.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in plastic surgery and be board certified/board eligible plastic surgeon with fellowship training in Craniofacial/Pediatric Plastic Surgery.
