IntelyCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of nursing professionals. As a CNA with IntelyCare, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of post-acute facilities, providing high-quality care to residents while enjoying a flexible scheduling system that allows you to pick your own shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities, including measuring and monitoring vital signs, observing resident conditions, and reporting concerns to the nursing team.
- Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed.
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, keep residents' rooms clean, change linens, and maintain a hygienic environment.
- Act as a conduit between medical staff and residents, and communicate with visitors.
- Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed.
- Offer a compassionate ear to residents and provide companionship.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures.
- Effective organizational skills and communication skills.
- Appropriate bedside manner.
