T.G. Lee Dairy is seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued operation of our production assets, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and material handling systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, including routine inspections and assessments of equipment reliability and performance.
- Read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
- Support the installation of new equipment and assist operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
- Complete work orders in a timely manner, maintaining high quality standards and ensuring all repairs are documented.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical school degree preferred in areas such as electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration.
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with experience on a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control, and packaging equipment.
- Certification and/or license may be required during the course of employment.
