About the Role

The MRI technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI equipment. This includes preparing patients for exams, operating the equipment, and creating high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations on patients of all ages
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
  • Operate MRI equipment to create high-quality diagnostic images
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
  • Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements
  • ARRT Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Preferred: Additional education in imaging or healthcare
