The role of an ER Nurse is dynamic and requires the ability to adapt quickly to varying situations. You will prioritize patients based on their medical needs while providing emergency triage. Collaborating with a skilled clinical team, you will deliver essential care by performing procedures such as IV insertions, foley catheter placements, and assisting healthcare providers with chest tube insertions.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement emergency triage protocols for patient intake, discharge, or admission.
- Provide stabilizing care to emergency patients across all age groups, adjusting treatment as necessary based on patient condition.
- Utilize cultural competence to deliver patient care that respects individual values and beliefs. Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care plans and patient condition changes.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, including mentoring and enhancing patient experiences.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of North Dakota.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Completion of PALS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications within six months of employment.
Compensation
$46.51 per hour
