Key Responsibilities:
- Excavate trenches, install ductwork, pull cables, and perform direct burial of main lines and drops.
- Identify and confirm the location of all utilities prior to commencing construction activities.
- Restore the work area to its original condition following completion of tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic.
- Experience in outdoor or construction environments is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor are essential.
- Possession of a valid US driver's license.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
- Capable of working safely, both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- This position operates primarily in outdoor settings. The role often requires prolonged periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting in various positions, as well as standing and twisting. Employees may work in adverse weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, ice, snow, and wind.
- The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high and precarious places, and airborne particles is expected. Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and electrical hazards may occur. The noise level in the work environment is typically very loud.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age to comply with Tilson's driving eligibility standards.

Tilson is committed to pay transparency; the compensation plan for this position includes a pay range of $26.00. This range is associated with a tiered position, and offers will be aligned with the relevant tier based on the candidate's experience, education, and specialization, as assessed during the interview process.
