The Avionics Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and modification of avionics systems on our aircraft. This position requires a strong understanding of technical data and compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate or relevant work history that qualifies for certification within six months of hire.
  • Current FAA Repairman's certificate or relevant work history that qualifies for certification within six months of hire.
  • Minimum of three years of field maintenance experience with avionics systems in complex fixed-wing or rotorcraft.
  • Proven experience in avionics systems installations in modern aircraft.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and avionics systems.
  • Willingness to learn and understand the company's General Maintenance Manual and applicable regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, and be available for on-call duties.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and integrity in decision-making.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate.
  • Current FAA Repairman's certificate or previous certification within the last five years.
  • Five years of avionics maintenance experience with an EMS operator.
  • Five years of experience in a 14 CFR 145 Certified Repair Station.
  • Experience with aircraft systems and avionics for Beechcraft, Cessna, Pilatus, and Airbus Helicopters.
