About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of FedEx Courier Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up packages to businesses and residences in the Bessemer, AL area.

Daily Responsibilities

• Deliver and Pickup Packages: Safely deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences, operating a company-provided vehicle.
• Perform Daily Vehicle Inspections: Regularly inspect your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Loading and Organizing Loads: Load your vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads efficiently.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: Engage with customers, address concerns, and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and Commercial Driving Experience: Possess a valid driver's license and at least 1 year of commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Pass DOT Physical and Background Check: Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and a FedEx Ground background check.
• Reliable Transportation: Possess reliable transportation to and from work.
• Excellent Communication and Time Management Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills.

The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
